Welcome to 1st Broughton Scout Group web site.
1st Broughton Scout Group provides scouting opportunities for all boys and girls aged 6 – 14
throughout a wide spread area, from Barton to all areas of Fulwood. There has been a Scout Group at
Broughton since 1936 and currently has over 200 members. We have our own Scout Headquarters
and have section meetings running every evening of the week.
We are run by adult volunteers, but what do they get out of it? All the activities and
adventure that the young people do. Fun – Friendship – Working in a team – Personal development –
Creative projects – Backwoods cooking – Shooting – Caving – Canoeing – Archery and so much more ….
